Beach Watch!

Hi Everyone, it's me, Frog!
I have been living at the seaside for 93 days.
I have seen two baby seagulls learn to fly.
I have lost SIX balls in the sea.
I have collected one SACKFUL of shells.
I have had three extra showers (because I got so messy on the beach.)
I have found one green crab shell that turned pink when it dried out!
I have been SOAKED by three huge waves.
I have had one knickerbocker glory.I have not been scared by the trams twice.
I LOVE being a seaside dog!

Sunflowers rule!

Youchers, grouchers, I cant get my pics to upload!
I have just drawn a pic of me with my sunflowers for you, so you can see how big they are, but the pic has decided that it doesnt want to too come out to play just now. Tsk tsk.
The seed packet for my sunflowers said they could grow up to ten feet high! Crikey, that's very tall. But my poor sunflowers have had a tough time being moved about a bit and getting blown about by the big winds that we get near our house, so they have been very good to make it to about five feet tall.
I planted twelve seeds, and only six grew.
Only three got big enough to plant out in the ground.
Only one made it to be a grown up sunflower!
I'm very proud of it though, it's got a lovely happy face, and the seeds will be good munchies for the birds in the autumn.
Next year we are going to plant our sunflower seedlings in a more sheltered place in the back garden where the wind won't blow them about. We didn't know it would be SO windy in our front garden when we moved in, because it was so hot all the time.

The wind can blow so hard it burns the plants! Poor things!
Next time, find out about my green beans....
